A beautiful vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver pendant featuring a kneeling deer designed by Arno Malinowski.The rear of the pendant is marked with "GJ 925 STERLING DENMARK 95" . It has a lovely silver 22 inch (56 cm) chain with paperclip type links with toggle clasp closure. Pendant measures approximately 4.3 x 3.3 cm and is in very good condition. Weight is 15 grams. It is estimated to date from the 1940's.

George Jensen was a renowned silversmith and the Georg Jensen brand has come to represent excellent quality craftsmanship and design. Arno Malinowski was a successful designer who worked with the Georg Jensen Company from 1936 to 1944 and again from 1949 to 1965. He often featured detailed designs of animals in his work. This pendant is a lovely example of his work.
