Rare Hannu Ikonen (Finland) for Valo-Koru vintage reindeer moss sterling silver bracelet .The bracelet measures approximately 5.8 x 4.7 cm (clear internal dimensions). It is openable at the front. Weight is 13 grams. Estimated to date from the 1970's. It is marked with the Valo-Koru crown stamp and also "925S FINLAND" It is in very good condition

Hannu Ikonen worked in both bronze and silver, making jewellery for the Valo-Koru Finnish firm throughout the 1970s. His well know “Renmoosblüte” or reindeer moss pieces were sculptural interpretations of forms from nature. His designs have become iconic in the modernist jewellery world.
