A tennis bracelet or line bracelet or line bracelet refers to a narrow, flexible kind of bracelet comprising a series of square or rectangular stones which are set in a single line. The stones are either identical or combinations of different kinds of stones. This bracelet became very popular in the1920's as the style reflected the geometric patterns of the Art Deco Era. The bracelet was in fashion again when Chris Everet wore it in the 1980’s and it then became known as the tennis bracelet.
