Sally Jane Ratcliffe silver modernist abstract brooch, one of her early works . It has an oval shaped labradorite gem bezel set in a sterling silver setting. It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear. It is signed "SJR" and has silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1990. The brooch measures approximately 7 cm x 3.7cm. Weight is 11.7 grams. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age.
