Vintage chunky amethyst and sterling silver pendant. The oval faceted amethyst cabochon is bezel set within a deep open backed decorative sterling silver setting with silver pendant bail. The pendant measures approximately 3 x 2.3 cm (not including the bail). Weight is 17 grams. It is marked "925" on the rear.  It is in very good condition. Estimated to date from 1950's to 1970's
