Vintage very rare Frances Holmes Boothby (American) mid century modernist
sterling silver owl brooch with orange enamel and oxidised silver eyes.  It has a pin
and rollover C clasp closure to the rear.  It is signed " fhb STERLING"
on the rear. The brooch measures approximately 5.7 cm x 3.3 cm. 
It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age.
 Estimated to date from the 1940's to 60's.
