Vintage amethyst and sterling silver stag brooch. The amethyst gemstone is prong set in a sterling silver setting. The brooch  measures approximately 2.6 cm diameter and has rollover clasp and pin closure to the rear. It is signed with "WBs" for the maker (Ward Brothers),  and has full Edinburgh hallmarks for 1961/62. It is in very good condition.
