Rare Hannu Ikonen (Finland) vintage reindeer moss bronze bracelet
with box clasp closure and safety chain.The bracelet measures approximately
19 cm (7.5 inches). Estimated to date from the 1970's. The signature that was
on the box clasp has mostly worn off with age. It is in very good condition

Hannu Ikonen worked in both bronze and silver, making jewellery for the
Valo-Koru Finnish firm throughout the 1970s. His well know “Renmoosblüte” or reindeer
moss pieces were sculptural interpretations of forms from nature. His designs have become
iconic in the modernist jewellery world.
