Vintage Mexican onyx and sterling silver warrior face mask brooch or pendant. The carved onyx stone is set in a decorative sterling silver mask setting. It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear and a pendant bail. It is signed "HECHO EN MEXICO " on the rear .The brooch measures approximately 4.9 cm x 4.4 cm (not including the dangle earring details on the mask). Weight is 27 grams. Estimated to date from the 1950's to 1960's. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age.
