Lovely quality Mexican silver and amethyst floral style brooch. It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear and is marked "MEXICO SILVER" on the rear. The brooch measures approximately 5.5 cm x 1.6 cm. Weight is 13 grams. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age. Matching Mexican silver earrings are available. Estimated to date from the 1940's.
