Vintage blue chalcedony and sterling silver ring by Shipton and Co. The oval blue chalcedony gem is bezel set in an open backed sterling silver setting. It is marked "SIL" on the inner ring.  It is  approximately a UK size M1/2 or  N .  Weight is 5 grams.  It is in very good condition and comes with the original white Shipton ring box.
